Manx Transport Museum
Peel, Isle of Man
The Island's smallest museum, Manx Transport Museum is located in the office of
the former brickworks on a site now used by Peel power station. Only about 60 square
metres in size, the museum contains artefacts from all forms of Manx transport,
as well as a brief description of the brickworks itself. Amongst the exhibits is
a P50 - the world's smallest road legal car in production, made in Peel in 1964.
A place to discover more about the island's transport history, there is much more
than railways and buses. Exhibits include: a model train and railway exhibit, motoring
exhibit, bus exhibit, escalator exhibit, ferry exhibit and features historical movie
clips, photos and collectibles.
